2023-24 Spirit Teams

The Florida Gators Creative Team reached out for assistance with their 2023-24 Florida Gators Spirit Teams photo shoot. I love working with the Gators especially on media day (or content creation) shoots.

This photo shoot featured three teams: cheerleaders, mascots, and dance. It was shot over one day on the campus of the University of Florida.

Media Day with Florida Gators Spirit Teams

The Setup

The Florida Gators Creative Team uses the UF Women's Club building adjacent to the Basketball Practice Complex for most of their team media day shoots. The setup consists of the following:

Three stations: two with white seamless backdrop for content creation and one with a grey seamless for headshots.
The Gators use Paul C Buff strobes with Pocketwizard triggers for their photo shoots which consists of a 4-light setup: two for background and two for primary lighting
Laptops at each station to process, identify, and tag all photos as they're shot

Big shout out to Ashley and Mallory for assisting at my station during the session and taking the BTS photos.

They also helped ingest, tag, and edit all photos during the session.

The Cheerleaders

I kicked it off with the male cheerleaders. They had a lot of great ideas.

The Mic Man

The Mic Man hypes the crowd during games. He brought that same energy to the photo shoot.

Now we feature the female cheerleaders.

Mascot Takeover

Alberta the Gator and Albert the Gator took over the shoot next performing some of their favorite moves.

The Dazzlers

The Dazzlers are the official dance team of the Florida Gators. They are very talented and athletic and bring a ton of fun energy to the shoot.

Batter Up!

The Dazzlers loves baseball season!

Football Szn!

Football season is everyone's favorite.

Hoop It Up!

The Dazzlers thrive during basketball season. It's their most active.

The best in the business. I appreciate them for their vision during the photo shoot.

I really appreciate the entire Florida Gators Creative Team for bringing me to help with the 2023 Florida Gators Spirit Media Day. I had a blast working with all the student-athletes, coaches, and Gators Creative students.
