Simone Sobers is the creator and owner of The Boss Chick Dance Workout, a high intensity hip hop, dance hall, afrobeats fusion twerkout program that has affiliations throughout the world. It combines two of Simone's loves (dance and music) into a high-paced fitness workout. Simone is a hard working entrepreneur and has turned a local Miami fitness dance group into a worldwide sensation.
We have known Simone since the late 90s and were excited to help expand her brand when she reached out to us back in December 2013 to help her with creating images for her company. We have since shot an additional four times to help keep her brand imaging current and engaging.

For our first shoot with Simone and the Boss Chick Dance Workout, we took our mobile studio on the road to her home in Hollywood, FL.
We shot on Savage pure white seamless with a Canon 5D Mark II and 50mm lens using Paul C. Buff's AlienBee strobes.
In our next shoot, we rented a dance studio so that we could incorporate a few of Simone's best dance instructors into the marketing photos. We shot with various outfits including some exclusive Boss Chick gear.
We used AlienBees strobes with softboxes and a Savage pure white backdrop seamless.
For our third shoot, we shot solely with Simone near the Wynwood area of Miami, FL. This is one of our favorite background spots because art is literally everywhere you look. Combined with some stunning outfit choices by Simone, we used the Wynwood Walls to create some unique images for her company.
Shot with Canon's 1D-X and 70-200mm lens and Paul C. Buff's AlienBee strobes midday.
For our fourth shoot, we rented a studio in Doral, FL to introduce some of Boss Chick's newest dance leaders along with Simone. We used a pure white Savage seamless and AlienBee strobes.
We had multiple outfit changes and looks to give Simone and the Boss Chick Dance Workout a fresh new set of marketing images.
For our fifth shoot, we shot near Miami Beach, FL at the Lincoln Road Parking Garage. This is a great location for its industrial look and low foot traffic. You also get some great views of Miami Beach.
We then moved to Simone's condo to finish out the shoot. Again, Simone brought some great outfit choices.
We like to have lots of fun on our shoots and love creating unique images for companies to share and use for marketing! If you’re interested in a photo session, head over to MattPendleton.com to sign up and get started right now!
