Meet Amita

Amita Dhillon is fitness instructor currently based out of Gainesville, FL. She's also an upcoming fitness model and brand ambassador (hire her!). We met Amita through Instagram and instantly setup shoots to collaborate.

We collaborated with Amita over three shoots from May to June 2017: outside in Gainesville, FL, on the beach at Jacksonville Beach, FL, and in the Matt Pendleton Photo studio. Over these three shoots, you'll see why she was one of our favorite fitness models to shoot. Her workouts are intense and you'll see over these three shoots the incredible level of her fitness.

Shoot #1: Downtown Gainesville, FL

Our first shoot took place near Downtown Gainesville, Florida. This is one of our favorite places to shoot because each street features great backgrounds and textures. Most of the time, the streets are are quiet with low traffic which allows us some privacy to shoot. We chose golden hour to shoot and planned two Nike outfits.

Shoot #2: Jacksonville Beach, FL

For our second shoot, we planned a sunrise shoot on the beautiful beaches of Jacksonville Beach. This required an early 4AM wake-up to make the 90 minute drive. It started out cloudy but we were able to get some great shots on a bunch of different looks. We shot near the Jacksonville Beach Fishing Pier, moving to the Beach Blvd underpass, and finishing up on a street facing the ocean in the Riverside area.

Outfits: Black bikini, grey Nike tank top, blue and black Nike Pro sports bra, red Nike Pro spandex shorts, grey Nike spandex tights, and pink Nike running shorts.

Shoot #3: In the Studio

For our last shoot, we chose the Matt Pendleton Photo studio on a black Savage seamless. We were able to use the AlienBee strobes to further enhance her incredible physique.

Behind-THE-Scenes of SHOOT #1

Go behind-the-scenes and see how much fun we have on our photo shoots. We brought in super-talented photographer, Lizzie Dulin, to help capture our process. She captured stunning imagery and helped to tell the story behind the photo story. This shoot was her first time working with us in a photo assistant/BTS photographer capacity and she rocked it.

This shoot required 4AM wake-up calls and a race to capture the sunrise.

We loved working with Amita. Each shoot was high energy and lots of fun. This was her first time in front of the camera and she killed it. The prep she did prior and in between shoots was intense and it reflected in all the imagery above.

Also a big shout to Lizzie Dulin! When we met her, we knew we had to find a way to collaborate on photo shoots. She's an awesome person and we look forward to more photo shoots together!
