Meet Lindsey

I met Lindsey Gass through my good friend, Aggie Buedo (check out her shoot). Lindsey is a Registered Dietitian/Licensed Nutritionist (RD, LD/N) and a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). She's also Youfit's Registered Dietitian and works at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital as a Clinical Dietician.

Lindsey was my first client for the East-West Coast #PhotoGrind shoots which started in Miami and finished in Los Angeles back in June 2019. I used some of her favorite running spots for backdrops. With the Miami skyline in the background, we created some great images during a warm sunset.

Miami Skyline

This was my first shoot using the Profoto OCF 2ft Beauty Dish. It's so compact (fits perfectly in a suitcase) but packs a lot of punch when paired with the Profoto B1X monolight.

I found a great spot under the Rickenbacker Causeway that featured the Downtown Miami skyline.

Rickenbacker Causeway Underpass

I absolutely love bridges especially when shooting underneath them. Great lines and good soft natural light. It was a little windy under this bridge but it didn't disappoint.

Running

Lindsey is well-known for her morning runs so I had to get a few shots running. I used the side of the bridge for a nice industrial backdrop. I finished off with a few headshots.

Brickell Bay Drive

Back on the mainland, I found a nice walkway that overlooks the intercoastal near Downtown Miami in the Brickell area. It was fairly quiet with the exception of a dog walker or two.

Lindsey switched into a Nike Pro outfit along with her signature hat. I finished the shoot here.

This was Lindsey's first shoot and she totally rocked it. I had a great time and she was awesome to work with. Looking forward to future shoots with her.
