College lacrosse is one of our favorite sports to cover. We're fortunate to have one of the premier college teams right in our backyard, attracting equally premier competition. This season we were able to shoot for the Florida Gators, Maryland Terrapins, and Brown Bears.

Maryland Terrapins vs. Florida Gators

Shooting for Maryland Athletics, the first match of the season featured the #2 Maryland Terrapins vs #6 Florida Gators. The Terrapins defeated the Gators 17-12 and notched Head Coach Cathy Reese her 250th win.

Maryland finished the year as NCAA Champions, their 14th title.

Lacrosse Scotland vs. Florida Gators

The next game of the season featured the Scotland National Team and the Florida Gators in an Exhibition Game. This was a good warm-up for both teams with Scotland travelling the state of Florida and the Gators getting some good playing minutes.

Brown Bears vs. Florida Gators

Our third game of the season featured the Brown Bears and Florida Gators. The Bears were 4-4 and Gators 4-6 entering this match-up. Ultimately, the Florida Gators won 22-11 improving to 5-6.

This match featured a really beautiful sunset and we took full advantage.

ECU Pirates vs Florida Gators

Our final game of the season featured the East Carolina Pirates and Florida Gators. The Gators won 20-10. The Florida Gators finished the season losing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament as well as AAC regular season and tournament champions.

Another college lacrosse season in the books! It was truly wonderful working for the Gators, Bears, and Terrapins especially considering we covered the National Champion. We're looking forward to next season's action!
